Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a PE backed business based in Solihull on a Management Accountant role.

The role forms part of a very successful and growing finance team which reports into the FD with lots of stakeholder involvement.

As part of this Management Accountant role, you will work closely with the Senior Management Accountant to deliver monthly management accounts, posting monthly journals and reporting on financial data.

This is an exciting position that will allow the successfulindividual to progress later in their career and have tangible influence of the company's future strategy.

The role
As Management Accountant you will report into the Head of Finance and you will be responsible for the below:

  • Maintain and improve the financial accounting capability of the company giving confidence to the team's stakeholders regarding integrity of financial reporting
  • Coordinate monthly accounting and reporting cycle for P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet
  • Produce monthly reports and analysis as required to meet the demands of Senior Management
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Day to day bookkeeping within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts

The Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience within a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • 3+ years post qualified experience
  • Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Good organisation and time management skills are essential to this role
