    Electrical Engineer (HV/Utilities/Energy)

    Birmingham (Hybrid)

    Salary:
    £42,000 & above (Negotiable/Flexible)

    My client is a global multidisciplinary engineering practice that operates across multiple infrastructure and master planning frameworks on an international scale.

    They are currently seeking bolster their national Energy team centred around achieving Net-Zero.

    As a team, they are involved in every aspect of their projects from early-stage environmental planning and regulatory checks to concept design to assisting contractors with construction.

    Due to this variety, their team encompasses engineers from various industries and disciplines (design consultancies, utility companies, manufacturing, DNOs & Cable manufacturers)
    All their projects are focused on driving Net-zero.

    For example, they are currently working on an Airport Masterplan project, a nuclear power plant and multiple 'Big4' financial accounting firms all with the goal of achieving net-zero carbon through more efficient energy and power solutions.

    They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience designing or constructing a High Voltage substation to their Birmingham Office.

    As a business they actively encourage their engineers to work across multiple offices and locations and even work directly with their clients on secondment They also are accepting candidates from overseas and are capable and willing to pay for Visa Sponsorhips.

    5+ years' experience within the Electrical Design (Power Systems/HV Substation/Utilities/Energy).
    ~ Knowledge of Electrical codes and standards.
    ~ Attend project meetings with Clients and other Design Team Members, Contractors etc.
    ~ Get involved in site/condition surveys, feasibility studies, report writing etc.
    ~ This business has a very proactive approach towards training and development of their employees and encourage their staff to be vocal about gaps in knowledge or ability so they can develop tailored and specific training programmes. You will be expected to grow within the business and assist with your own learning curve by recommending training to fill gaps in ability when suitable.
