    The Role

    We are looking for a Paralegal to join our growing corporate and tax team in Manchester city centre on a permanent basis.

    For the right candidate, a training contract may be offered after a period of time.

    MSA Law is a specialist tax law firm focusing on advice to companies, owner-managed businesses, and the individuals behind them on business tax issues, in particular those associated with organisational change and business succession.

    MSA Law was established 11 years ago by Bernard McIlroy and Fiona Sutherland, two very experienced partner-level individuals with big firm backgrounds who decided that they wanted to offer tax legal services outside the traditional structure and confines of a large commercial law firm.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Drafting, proof reading and editing of legal documents

    Assisting with a broad range of both corporate & tax work

    Conducting legal research

    Working efficiently to deadlines

    Drafting client correspondence and liaising with clients and other lawyers

    Supporting the Partners & Associates more generally with client matters and administrative tasks

    Who We'd Like to Hear From

    Law degree (or conversion course)

    LPC or SQE would be an advantage

    6 months+ practical experience in an office environment

    Corporate & property experience would be advantageous

    Excellent time management and attention to detail

    Strong organisational skills and an ability to take responsibility for own workload
