Future Studios is one of the world's leading content producers with a hit of short-form factual and social content under the 'Truly' brand that reaches huge global audiences, clients and platforms amassing millions of views on Facebook, YouTube and Snapchat in particular.

Future Studios creates original content for external TV and digital clients and broadcasters in the UK and USA, including Snapchat, Netflix, Discovery, Nat Geo, Channel 4, Channel 5, and A+E, amongst others.

What you'll be doing...

As a Casting Researcher, you will be responsible for researching original, engaging inspiring real-life stories that will feature in our hit series and resonate with Truly's passionate audiences across every platform.

This would be ideal for an Entertainment Casting AP or Researcher in journalism looking to make the jump to Producer in a fast-paced, exciting online company.

Roles and responsibilities:

Be responsible for managing talent and being a duty of care with protocols such as background checks, and assessing a contributor's duty of care.
Researching original, inspiring reallife stories on a consistent basis.
Pitching and developing story ideas to the Video Producer and Senior Producer at the required level.
Developing bigger story ideas with the Executive Producer on a weekly basis.
Pitching new ideas to potentially steer our brand toward new audiences to keep our series fresh and exciting.
Being able to spot and get access to diverse onscreen talent.
Doing indepth research calls with each potential new story.
Helping to write wellresearched story descriptions/articles that accompany each video.
Ensuring deadlines and production targets are followed through and met with the Video Producer and Senior Producer.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

Experienced in a quick turnaround of casting, for a highoutput and exciting platform.
A passion for finding, and pitching, previously untold, true stories that are relevant to pop culture and trends happening right now.
An understanding of different social media platforms' content for audiences averaging years old.
To be a proactive member of a closeworking, thriving team with a strong desire to learn and develop.
The drive to smash targets in a high turnaround, creative, environment.
Experience using the Google Suite is helpful.
