Salary:
Dependent on experience/study level £45-60k + benefits
Our client is a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial SME with huge growth plans for the next few years.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the business in their Manchester office, the role will be overseeing business finances whilst leading/buildinga team and being involved in some exciting projects that will facilitate business growth.

You must be ambitious, pro-active, confident in your ability and keen to progress with an opportunity to be Finance Director in the next few years.

This role will offer fantastic exposure, working with the business directors to transform and scale the businessand finance team

Role:

Review of existing processes and controls, implementing improvements
Leading on month end and posting of monthly WIP accruals
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and producing management information for board
Monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and KPIs
Annual consolidated company accounts
Commercial analysis for business directors and board
PAYE, VAT returns and other financial compliance
Oversee cash management and purchase ledger processes to maximise returns and comply with supplier terms
Management of finance team ensuring that all daily requirements are completed
Monitoring of daily compliance reports
Formal appraisals and ongoing mentoring to maximise each person's potential
