Training and Development Manager
MedicsPro is a UK leading medical recruitment agency.

Our people are industry experts, providing staffing solutions for the NHS and private healthcare providers, roles such as doctors, nurses, allied health professionals (AHP) and health science staff (HSS).


We are looking for a Training and Development Manager to join our organisation, to take ownership develop and deliver a quality training programme to enhance existing systems, incorporating core skills and behaviours required to become outstanding colleagueswithin the healthcare industry.

The training will involve imparting information to our people in an interesting, engaging, and empowering manner, to meet our people's needs and learning styles.


The Training and Development Manager is a pivotal role to company growth and business strategy which will allow the successful applicant to become a valuable member to the senior leadership team in the delivery of company success.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Ownership and development of internal Sales Training Program
  • Ownership and management of the MedicsPro Sales Academy/Training Pod
  • Ensuring new recruits training programme is rounded and formative to equip Recruitment Consultants with the skill set to be ambassadors for the organisation
  • Guide the development of 'Desk Ready' consultants and their transition to a Sales Team, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders
  • Having positive engagement with all Sales Teams, building an understanding of their unique needs, and working practices
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, supporting the continued improvement of the recruitment process
  • Supporting the management team with the induction, onboarding of new colleagues and monitoring their early progression
  • Shaping minds, developing talent, and ensuring that the training is in line with organisational strategy
  • Updating and creating sales training, modular programmes for internal career pathways
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training process and performance related data to enable adjustments for continuous improvements. Ensuring programs stay relevant in an everchanging market
  • Championing Best Practices and MedicsPro core values
  • Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion to achieve a positive and rewarding team culture

Key Attributes

  • Proven sales background with 2 years' experience minimum
  • Demonstrate experience as a 360degree recruiter
  • Experience of building and leading successful teams
  • Ability to liaise with multiple Stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets (Goal-Orientated)
  • Ambitious with a tenacity to succeed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales and negotiating skills
  • Teamworking and mentoring skills
  • IT proficient MS office, CRM database
