HR Advisor (full or part time hours)
Cars2 is a highly successful motor retailer based in West and South Yorkshire.
We are a family run business, that has grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world's leading motor brands, including Hyundai, Nissan, SEAT, MG, and Renault.
We now have an exciting opportunity at our Head Office in Wakefield for a confident, self-motivated, and driven individual to join human resources team.
There is an element of travel to attend inductions and formal meetings across our 13 sites all situated in either West or South Yorkshire.
This is a _full-time or part-time_ position, working Monday to Friday. Part time hours can be accommodated, ideally working 25 hours (5.5 hours per day).
The Role
As a HR Advisor, you will assist the Group HR Manager / Finance Director with the day-to-day human resources activity for the Group, as well as support the recruitment, employee relations, induction, health and safety and training processes
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide the initial HR advice to both the Directors and Managers within the Group across multisites.
- Preparation of job offers, contracts and amendments.
- Assist with employee relations processes such disciplinary and grievance meetings.
- Attend probation review meetings and provide followup letters.
- Processing new starters and leavers.
- Drafting reports and letters in relation to human resource issues.
- Ensure all employment, environmental, Health & Safety and other policies are strictly adhered to, always operating within the law.
Skills and experience required
As a HR Advisor at Cars2, it is essential that you have:
- Worked in a Head Office role or similar.
- HR knowledge experience as a minimum.
- The ability to prioritise workloads.
- Strong communication skills.
- An up to date working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- An excellent command of English Language with writing skills to match.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ideally hold a CIPD qualification (Level 3 & 5).

The position of HR Advisor would suit an experienced individual that is/has:

Salary - Up to 27,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours), you are required to hold a driving licence as there will be a requirement to travel between sites.
