The role:


Requirements:

Confident in undertaking ecological and biodiversity net gain assessments, protected species and habitat surveys, you must have 2-4 years of experience for this role.

Excellent attention to detail and data management plus conversant in the biodiversity net gain metric and good understanding of legislation and planning policy are essential.

You must be ready to travel and work flexible hours and ideally have a CSCS card.

Given the role involves travelling around the county, you will need to have a valid UK driver's licence and access to your own transport (work vehicles are also available).

Our office is in Pirbright; we operate a
flexi/hybrid working policy and aim to provide a good work/life balance whilst having an interesting and challenging working environment.

This is a permanent full-time role although part-time roles will also be considered.


Description:

Supporting a team of expert ecologists, working on a diverse portfolio of projects, including large infrastructure projects, housing developments, private home-owners and landowners.

As an ecologist you will be undertaking ecological surveys and biodiversity net gain assessments, manage small projects and be working towards protected species licences and/or developing your botanical skills, leading field teams and preparing high quality technical reports.
