The Role

As an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers, with a focus on person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in dispensing duties, ensuring accurate prescription processing, promoting our wide range of products and services, and referring customers to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised environment, managing stock, and carrying out necessary administrative tasks.

You don't need to be a Pharmacy Guru to join our team - we'll provide you with a full induction, and all the ongoing training and support you need to thrive in pharmacy.

You just need a positive and can-do attitude with a thirst for learning and delivering excellent person-centred care.

Hours
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This role involves working 1 in 2 Saturdays between 9-1pm, but we will provide you with compensatory time off during the week.

The Apprenticeship Experience

Under the guidance of our expert team and in collaboration with leading training providers, you will embark on a comprehensive 18-month training programme that covers every aspect of community pharmacy.

From hands-on experience at the medicines counter to dispensary training, we will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the field.

Throughout your apprenticeship journey, a dedicated mentor will be there to support you every step of the way.

By the end of the programme, you will achieve a recognised Level 2 qualification and may even be offered a permanent position within our thriving business.
