- Supporting Paramedics and other medical professionals in ensuring the efficient operation of our frontline support.
- Carrying out blue light response driving, responding to emergency calls
- Ensuring the prompt, legible and accurate completion of all patient records and incident forms.
- Recording baseline observations and communicate them to lead clinician.
- Safe use of AED
- Ensuring health, safety and welfare of patients and colleagues
- Completing vehicle daily inspections, ensure that the ambulance consumables are stocked before every shift and checking all equipment is in operational readiness.
- Appropriately using airwaves radios and equipment (terrafix)

Main duties of the job
As an Emergency Care Assistant, you will be working as part of a Double Crewed Ambulance responding to 999 calls and facilitating emergency transfers. We're keen to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills, with great teamwork abilities and a passion to deliver high quality patient care. You should be a highly motivated individual, able to work as part of a team and under supervision, with excellent interpersonal skills.
