    CIPHER Medical have an exciting opportunity for Qualified Emergency Care Assistants to join our growing team .

    Main duties of the job

    As an Emergency Care Assistant, you will be working as part of a Double Crewed Ambulance responding to 999 calls and facilitating emergency transfers. We're keen to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills, with great teamwork abilities and a passion to deliver high quality patient care. You should be a highly motivated individual, able to work as part of a team and under supervision, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Job description

    Job responsibilities

    The role;

  • Supporting Paramedics and other medical professionals in ensuring the efficient operation of our frontline support.
  • Carrying out blue light response driving, responding to emergency calls
  • Ensuring the prompt, legible and accurate completion of all patient records and incident forms.
  • Recording baseline observations and communicate them to lead clinician.
  • Safe use of AED
  • Ensuring health, safety and welfare of patients and colleagues
  • Completing vehicle daily inspections, ensure that the ambulance consumables are stocked before every shift and checking all equipment is in operational readiness.
  • Appropriately using airwaves radios and equipment (terrafix)
  • At all times exhibit standards of personal and professional conduct and performance

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 penalty points)
  • Blue Light Emergency Driving qualification
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience working on front line emergency ambulances
