*About us: RT Keedwell is a long-established national transport provider with a range of different customers. We have a network of Depots across the country and a fleet of around 500 vehicles, making us one of the UK's leading privately owned transport Company.

*Key duties and responsibilities are:

• Effectively plan loads to vehicles ensuring on time deliveries are achieved and exceed company target.
• Oversee return loads to ensure suitability and financial viability.
• Supervise driver performance alongside the transport team.
• Provide vehicles and trailers for maintenance as per schedule, supplied by transport manager.
• Plan drivers' workload to comply with driver's hours and working time legislation.
• Update Mandata traffic software system in a timely and accurate manner, with support from transport team.
• Attend operational meetings and other review meetings as required.
• Develop a strong understanding of RT Keedwell's group network to enable full synergy with the overall group.
• Seek areas for continual operational improvement.
• Comply to and help further develop Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

*Skills and abilities required for this position include:

• Previous transport industry experience.
• CPC qualification preferred, but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills
• Good verbal communication skills, and ability to engage with your driving team.
• Attention to detail, and desire to solve problems, good time management.
• A flexible team member with a flexible approach to daily workload.
• Energy and commitment to help drive our business forward.
• Awareness of operating costs, KPIs and vehicle revenue requirements preferred.
