Job Summary

We have brand new opportunities available to join our new Capital Team in Finance, to support our client councils to monitor and support the delivery of these projects and add additional resilience to the existing Capital monitoring function.


Firstly we are recruiting for a Senior Business Partner to join our new team for our Client Councils and across Public Sector Partnership Services.

Joining our new team you will be given the opportunity to help build our Capital team from the ground up, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to stamp their identity on a new role at an exciting time for the organisation



PSPS is a local authority trading company which is wholly owned by its three shareholder Councils, South Holland District Council, East Lindsey District Council and Boston Borough Council in Lincolnshire.


PSPS delivers a range of front and back-office services which includes, HR & Payroll, Financial Services, ICT and Digital, Revenue & Benefits, Customer Contact, Health and Safety and has an internal Corporate Services function.


Our client councils have recently been successful in securing multi million pound UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF), Rural England Prosperity Funding (REPF) & Levelling Up Funding settlements to support a wide range of projects that will help transform communities across South and East Lincolnshire.


You will be responsible for:


  • The delivery, effective management and oversight for the Clients Councils Capital Programme including programmes funded by central government grant funding.
  • The delivery of effective finance business partnering, enhancing the quality of client decision making and ensure performance targets and service standards are met and to deliver ongoing efficiencies and continuous improvement across all service activities

What we need from you:


  • Fully Qualified AAT
  • Knowledge of Capital Accounting and relevant funding regimes
  • Experience in delivering and contributing to yearly budgets, management accounts, yearend publications and other inyear returns
