About this job

Do you have experience of teaching Maths to adult learners? Are you able to teach a varied programme maintaining a flexible approach to encompass the diversity of our learners' needs? If so, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

We are looking for outstanding part-time Maths tutors to teach GCSE and Functional Skills and/or SEND classes. There is also the opportunity to deliver Maths sessions for the Family Learning department.

The successful candidates will ideally have experience in teaching innovative and inclusive English sessions to adult learners and be able to plan, develop and deliver courses effectively with competent IT skills.

They must hold a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 as a minimum and be willing to work towards Level 4 or above); a subject specific qualification or equivalent industry experience and Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).

You will have the ability to motivate, support and develop every learner through outstanding teaching and learning to achieve a successful outcome in their English studies.
