Description

Based on the Glan yr Afon Industrial Estate in Aberystwyth, Ridiculously by Alana operate a bakery and are looking for an energetic and hardworking Picker and Packer to dispatch orders of their delicious handmade cake.

This is a role with a lot of responsibility and requires someone with great organisational and communication skills and a focused work ethic.

Main Responsibilities

Generating daily reports for orders to be dispatched
Sorting and labelling products ready to be packed
Packing all orders as requested by management
Working to strict deadlines to ensure all orders are packed in time for courier collection
Packing incoming stock away in an organised fashion, taking inventory when required
Ensuring correct shipping information is attached correctly and orders are safely stored for dispatch
Regular communication with management regarding stock levels and any issues with orders
Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and wellorganized.
Complying with health and safety regulations

Key Skills

Experience in a similar packing, warehouse or retail environment preferred but not essential as full in house training will be provided
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficient in use of IT systems
Role will include carrying and lifting of heavy orders and long periods of time stood so a decent level of fitness is beneficial
Ability to work independently and problem solve
Full UK Drivers licence and access to own vehicle preferred but not essential

This role will be Monday to Friday from 9am until 3pm.

Paid at the National Living Wage

While the role will be focused on Picking and Packing, occasional adhoc duties within a warehouse/retail environment may be required.

Salary:
£9.50 per hour
