    The Opportunity

    Finatal is partnered with a leading fast-growing private equity backed environmental/sustainability consultancy in their search for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer.

    The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial health aligns with its ambitious growth plans. The role offers a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of the environmental and sustainability sector, with a strong commitment to continued expansion through mergers and acquisitions. The business operates globally, with a well-established finance and executive team already in place.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, including identifying and evaluating potential M&A opportunities.
    • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
    • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team to drive business decisions and maximize shareholder value.

    Requirements:

    • ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
    • Demonstrated success in driving financial growth strategies and executing M&A transactions.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to inform strategic decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Experience operating in a private equity-backed professional services business that has undergone significant growth.
    • Exit experience from previous roles is preferable, demonstrating the ability to drive successful outcomes for investors.
