    About the role

    As Credit Control Manager you'll be reporting to the CFO, managing the process of efficient collections and strong business partnering across the US, EMEA and UK regions.

    Leading a team of 17 to be proactive, highly motivated and client focused in ensuring our clients pay to agreed terms, minimizing bad debt write offs and effective management of group exposure.

    Working closely with the business to provide collection performance improvement and proactive support in the provision of financial information and reports.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    Team Management

    • Provide leadership and management support to the UK, EMEA & US credit control team to ensure a high-quality service to the business.
    • Maintain a highly motivated and professional team who are client focused and have a continuous improvement attitude.

    Risk Management

    • Provide a point of escalation for risks / issues and incidents.
    • Approval of "high risk" credit decisions as part of the customer take on process.

    Process Improvement

    • Liaison with the relevant business departmental heads through regular meetings to ensure queries are identified and reported early and actions for resolution are agreed, reported and stakeholders kept informed.
    • Weekly meetings with Sales and Customer Success Teams across the various regions to agree actions required to progress outstanding issues.
    • Working closely with business heads to identify process improvements and to articulate those to the wider team.

    Systems

    • System development work to automate processes where possible, including testing and roll out to the business areas.

    Skills and Experience

    • An experienced Credit Manager with a track record for leading and managing large teams to achieve outstanding results.
    • A strong leader with the ability to set clear expectations and goals to the team.
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to operate at all levels and challenge senior Stakeholders where necessary.
    • CICM or AICM qualified.
    • Advanced excel skills.
