    Epsilon Talent are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Service Engineer for our client who is the world's largest manufacturer of environmental testing equipment. Their environmental simulation product range includes the supply of standard and customised climatic test chambers / rooms, environmental stress screening, corrosion, and pharmaceutical stability testing. They also offer sports science rooms, laboratory, and industrial ovens.

    The successful candidate will have a passion for modern manufacturing and want to actively contribute to the continuing growth of the business. They will also possess an excellent work ethic and inter- personal skills. Be able to problem solve, use their own initiative, and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

    Key Responsibilities:


    •Carry out Preventative and scheduled maintenance of refrigeration, electrical and humidity systems


    •To undertake annual calibration and re-qualification and validation of equipment


    •Carry out repairs, upgrades and retrofits on all refrigeration, electrical, humidity and software systems


    •On a daily basis, to travel and work at different customer locations across the area where necessary


    •To work on project installations in the UK and overseas as and when required


    •To help and advise customers on the condition of their equipment and offer the options available to them


    •Daily reporting back to the office

    Skills (Required):


    •Experience in a similar role


    •Conversant with commercial and industrial electrical systems


    •Capable of diagnosing and fixing problems associated with controllers and control software (training will be provided)


    •Knowledge of refrigeration circuits and systems covering a range of refrigerants


    •Experience in pipework and brazing/silver soldering


    •Capable of working alone during normal hours, with occasional weekend and out of hours work on customer sites

    Skills (Preferable):


    Electronic controls/controllers' knowledge


    •Knowledge of cascade refrigeration

    Benefits:


    •Competitive base salary with OTE of £45,000-£50,000 per annum
