    CDM Life Sciences are currently seeking a highly skilled and Board Certified (or eligible) Clinical Veterinary Pathologist to join our client's team. As a Clinical Veterinary Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting veterinary specimens, providing accurate diagnoses, and contributing to the overall success of our laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of veterinary pathology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform histopathological examinations of veterinary specimens, including tissues, organs, and bodily fluids.
    • Analyse and interpret laboratory results to provide accurate diagnoses of various animal diseases and conditions.
    • Collaborate with other members of the laboratory team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of specimens.
    • Maintain detailed records of cases, including specimen information, diagnostic findings, and recommendations.
    • Communicate effectively with veterinarians and clients to discuss diagnostic results and provide consultation when necessary.
    • Stay current with advances in veterinary pathology and participate in continuing education activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
    Qualifications:
    • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
    • Board certification in veterinary pathology (ACVP or ECVP) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a veterinary pathologist, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
    • Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, histology, and pathology.
    • Proficiency in histopathological techniques and interpretation of microscopic findings.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in diagnostic testing.
    Benefits:
