- Undertake assessments of referrals to the service
- Diagnose and formulate management plans under tailored supervision.
- Provide management in treatment resistant and complex presentations.
- Assessment and management of risk including of vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety and risk of harm to others.
- Assisting in preparation of Mental Health Review Tribunal and Managers' Hearings reports and if wished attendance at subsequent hearings.
- Work in a collaborative way with multidisciplinary teams including external partners.
- Work in partnership with psychiatrists from partner providers such as Forensic and Rehabilitation Psychiatrists.
- It is expected the successful candidate will either have Section 12 approval or be willing to work towards this within the first 12 months in post and support the Mental Health Act work of the team and the service more widely.
- This will include contribution to the middle grade daytime on call rota with opportunity to join the out of hours rota.

Central CMHT West
The successful candidate will be expected to;
Working for our organisation
North CMHT
This a full-time appointment for a Specialty Doctor to work in CMHT-NE. Successful candidate will be working with of the two Consultants in the CMHT-NE and may be requested to participate in the middle tier on-call Rota within Manchester directorate. The on-call would be pro-rata.
Laureate House
This a full-time appointment for a Specialty Doctor to work on one of our general-adult (adults of working age- AOWA) inpatient wards (Bronte and Blake Wards in Laureate House). Successful candidates will be working with a multidisciplinary team consisting of consultant psychiatrists, psychiatry (ST and CT) /foundation/GP doctors in training, advance nurse practitioners, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and support workers. Successful candidates are expected to participate in the middle tier on-call Rota within Manchester directorate. The on call would be pro-rata.
