Description

Our client is an award winning engineering group, headquartered in the UK and with operations in Europe and the Far East.

Following restructure a new role has been created to manage and oversee the operational effectiveness of two key production sites in the West Midlands.

The role will take responsibility for manufacturing operations, performance, customer satisfaction and site P&L, progressing the sites to World Class Manufacturing standards.

This includes CAPEX investment and a focus on gross margin efficiencies. The scope is broad and will include production, quality, H&S, maintenance and team development across circa 150 people.

Crucial will be the ability to oversee the production plan whilst at the same time scrutinise the detail with consistency and an appreciation of the commercial context.

The role will provide pro-active, visible leadership across the two sites, managing, mentoring and developing people, ensuring appropriate levels of training and best practice.

Continuous Improvement will be an important focus, utilising lean approaches to maximise productivity.

Salary:
£80,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
