Week one Tuesday sleep into Wednesday

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic team in Luton.
Tennyson Road is a CQC registered small group home for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.

_ About the role _
As a Support Worker, you will help people with mental health problems or learning disabilities in their home or out in the community.
This might include motivating someone to eat healthily or visit the gym, or providing support to a person with emotional problems.
You will work together with the team and in partnership with other agencies to provide an excellent service.You will be passionate about ensuring the service we deliver is person centred in supporting our customers to develop their confidence, skills, and independence in their homes and in the local community.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Personal care
- Maintaining their homes
- Budgeting and shopping
- Planning and preparing meals
- Accessing activities in the community (study, volunteering, social/leisure activities)
- Maintaining relationships with family and friends
- Accompanying customers to appointments and/or on excursions
- Food preparation and cooking
- Laundry and housework
- Support with medication
We would love to hear from you if you are
- Flexible to work on a rolling rota (morning/evening /weekend availability is essential)
- Good at working on your own and within a team
- Excellent at communicating with people
- Able to complete good quality support records
- Have good IT knowledge
