What you will enjoy doing

  • You will proactively minimise the number of issues generated through the Call & Click channels in order to ensure maximum revenue generated for the RBU and customer expectations are managed through proactive contact. It is the job holders responsibility to ensure that the issues uncovered, they are investigated to understand the root cause and then either selfmanaged or escalated to the appropriate person within the RBU to ensure not just a short term, but a long term resolution is achieved
  • You will manage daily, all customer issues generated in respect of faulty supplied goods and /or customer returned items are dealt with according to BOC policy. This allows for upsell/cross sell opportunities which the jobholder deems appropriate or may mean crediting charges incurred if no alternative solution can be agreed
  • Working closely with all sales teams to ensure they are informed of any issues surrounding stocking, availability and third party delays which may result in orders not being delivered on time
  • Furthermore, you will lead the development of additional processes to meet customer requirements as well as actively work to improve the existing processes
  • To produce and analyse the monthly Supply Chain metrics in order to improve performance. Good analytical skills are required to properly interrogate the reports in order to see future improvements. The Supply Chain Planner Support will be expected to present solutions to issues discovered to the Supply Chain Manager and then implement accordingly

  • Written, report writing & verbal communication skills
  • You are a team player with the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Previous Supply Chain experience (desirable)
  • Furthermore, you have a minimum of GCSE level education
