Key Responsibilities:

The role will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Synthesize a broad portfolio of diverse technical demand into a consolidated executable plan and determine the milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and assumptions for meeting that demand.
  • Consulting with the GFT Technology, Data and Security Architect team and also the engineering teams, infrastructure and security functions to formulate tasks and milestones for artefact delivery.
  • Work with program and project managers to build effective relationships and engage with Citi project processes to drive efficient technical delivery.
  • Provide regular reporting and escalation to management and stakeholders on artefact status, risks, dependencies, issues for enterprise and project specific architecture tasks.
  • Maintain the assignments for individual architects and the overall resourcing loads across the architecture team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence across the Enterprise: modern engineering practices, adoption of open source and open standards, creating a culture of collaboration and efficiency
  • Contribute to robust architecture practices and processes that ensure the Engineering and Architecture practice are helping the business develop disruptive strategies to improve.
  • Contribute to consistent architectural governance to validate those strategic investments being made that will move the technology portfolio towards the agreed target state.
  • Contribute to oversight and guidance with architecture procedures and processes including conformance to nonfunctional requirements.

Experience and Skills:


  • 7+ Years' experience in program management, project management and technical delivery.
  • 7+ years' experience in the technical artefacts associated with software program management especially architecture artefacts such as project re quirements documents, highlevel and lowlevel design documents using TOGAF, Zachman and UML methods.
  • 5+ years' experience driving software delivery transformation through Agile practice and processes especially Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe.
  • 5+ years' experience in technology knowledge management and maintaining document libraries and document stored in document libraries and Wiki's.
  • Experience in simplification, rationalization, and modernization in a globally regulated organization.
  • Experience of Technology Risk Management of Open Source, Proprietary and Cloud based solutions.
  • Exceptional communicator who loves working with people, communicating at all levels from a team level to the entire enterprise
  • Welldeveloped technical written communication skills and able to effectively use internal social media platforms to communicate across the group
  • A good understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies, and frameworks.
