    Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for shaping data governance strategies on an enterprise scale? Join us as a Data Governance Manager at SEFE Group and play a key role in overseeing data governance initiatives, fostering collaboration, and driving a culture of data excellence.

    What You Will Do
    As a Data Governance Manager, you will oversee Data Governance at the group level, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and compliance standards. You will also design a comprehensive data operating model tailored to the unique needs of the SEFE Group.

    You'll also be responsible for forming a vibrant community of data architects and engineers across the group, looking to foster an environment for knowledge exchange and collaboration to enhance data capabilities. This will allow you to lead and coordinate data architects' efforts to achieve harmonised, enterprise-wide data governance, aligning data governance strategies with the overarching IT strategy of the SEFE Group.

    A key focus to the position is developing and implementing policies and procedures for data governance and protection. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess data risks and develop robust mitigation plans to safeguard data assets. You'll be expected to plan and execute a comprehensive enterprise-level data culture strategy. Instill a culture of data-driven decision-making and responsibility across the organisation.

    What you Will Bring

    • University degree in Project Management, IT, Business Administration, Economic Sciences, or comparable, or equivalent professional experience.

    • Extensive experience in data quality and lifecycle management techniques and processes.

    • Hands-on experience with data management and data modelling tools.

    • Good knowledge of architecture and data platforms.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Relevant certifications, such as DMBOK or TOGAF.

    • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data governance and data protection, such as GDPR.

    • Great communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Willingness to travel.

    • Fluent in English.
