Description

To provide a comprehensive postal service to Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, based at Torbay Hospital.

Work well within the post room and transport teams.

Delivering and collection of post throughout Torbay Hospital for internal and external delivery. Sorting of mail and patient notes inwards and outwards of Torbay hospital. Working with the hospital courier service and the porter teams. Inputting of order details to the Royal Mail websites.

Working with colleagues in a friendly and supportive team where everyone has the opportunity to be the best they can be ensures that our diverse experiences are valued and respected.

To act as a first point of contact, answering questions and dealing with postal enquiries
Maintain effective communication with a range of people across all levels, both within and outside of the organisation.
Liaise with Transport Services Team Leader
Communicate & work with Chargehand Porters, wards and departments.
Sort internal and external post.
Provide an internal and external delivery service.
Accurately report, record and input post figures.
