Senior People Coordinator - London, United Kingdom - Dexters Estate Agent Group

Main purpose of the Role:
To assist the People Team in coordinating new starters through to payroll, compliance, and general administration duties ensuring the team is delivering 5-star service at every step.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Location:
Teddington, TW11
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispatch job offer packs communicating with Recruitment, Coaching and other departments as appropriate.
- Collate new starter details, build employee files and ensure new starters are added to payroll system.
- Draft all correspondence to reflect salary, location and deal changes.
- Respond to all reference requests in a timely manner.
- Support on audits ensuring issues are flagged to Directors.
- Maintain Select HR system, coaching Managers / Directors as appropriate and ensuring data is complete and up to date and that the system is used to full capacity.
- Update the People best practice documents in conjunction with other team members.
- Address payroll queries and respond to Managers and Directors.
- Provide support to the wider Help and Advice team as and when required.
- Respond to all other adhoc administrative tasks.
- Manage monthly sickness report.
- Run Maternity meetings for colleagues of all levels across the business.
- Assist with the recovery of bad debts for ex colleagues.
- Support the team with the EAP referral process.
Requirements:
- Highly IT literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel including mail merging; as well as Gmail and associated Google programs.
- Experienced in prioritising and planning own workload.
- Willingness to learn new skills and increase knowledge.
- 2+ years HR/Administration experience.
- A desire to develop a career in HR.
