    PEGA Architect Lead

    Location: London

    Workplace Type: Hybrid

    FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a talented and experienced PEGA Architect Lead for our client within the banking sector.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of PEGA-based solutions across various business units within the bank. This role requires strong technical expertise in PEGA platform architecture, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of banking processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • PEGA Architecture: Design, develop and implement PEGA solutions to meet business and strategic objectives.
    • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to PEGA developers and adhere to architectural standards.
    • Solution Design: Translate business needs into technical designs and scalable PEGA solutions.
    • PEGA Development: Hands on development using PEGA platform, including designing, building workflows, user interfaces, integrations, and data models.
    • Performance Optimisation: Identify opportunities for performance optimisation and scalability improvements within existing PEGA applications.
    • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
    • Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation and training materials.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience working with PEGA platform, including PEGA 7/8 versions.
    • Proven track record of leading PEGA development teams and delivering successful
    • PEGA-based solutions in a banking or financial services environment.
    • Strong understanding of PEGA architecture, including case management, decisioning, user interface development, and integration capabilities.
    • Hands-on experience with PEGA design and development, including activities, flows, data modelling, declarative rules, and custom coding (Java, JavaScript, etc.).
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, and senior management.
    • PEGA certifications such as PEGA Certified System Architect (PCSA) or PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) are highly desirable.
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
