: Application Design Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who will design and deliver electrical engineering designs on medium voltage equipment on major and/or complex projects and fit in with our team, in a progressive, design-led environment, embracing a sustainable approach with the successful candidate becoming a contributor to the development of the teams and the excellent atmosphere which exists within the group.

You will work closely with Project managers/Clients and other design engineers, in managing the production of drawings, preparing all documentation needed to manufacturing, providing technical support during FAT with the client.

Prepare complex electrical design schematic diagrams for medium voltage applications, including the selection of appropriate protection and control devices.

Program protection configuration files for multifunctional protection and control devices (Micom, Sepam, Easergy ranges)
To provide technical support to the project management team, the manufacturing division and the Customer.
To assist with resolution of technical issues during the execution of commissioning activities on site.
Design of the project communication architecture and preparation of IEC61850 programme files
To work on possible improvements via technical design and innovation in order enhance the competitiveness, quality and profitability of our equipment offer
