    Job Description

    The Tech Lead will provide technical assurance around platform and technology decisions within the framework of Informa. Ideally from an engineering or delivery background with a deep understanding of agile working practices and how to build, maintain and support enterprise systems.

    Working closely with product managers, delivery leads, development squads and SMEs, the successful candidate will be able to make use of their technical knowledge to support, unblock, guide and mentor technical delivery of key Informa Tech projects and programmes.

    • Develop, implement and champion delivery best practices across the Informa Tech and beyond
    • Orchestrate, drive and own the delivery activities & delivery plans for the Informa Tech, in collaboration with colleagues in the product team, divisions, group, etc
    • Act as key delivery contact for business stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (setting expectations, comms, unblocking)
    • Working with Divisional & Group colleagues, develop and execute project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables, resource and cost. Establish working practices
    • Support Informa Tech proactive management of delivery risks
    • Help to measure success, validate delivery is meeting targeted KPIs and implement processes to measure KPI is met, is on target, or if not on target recognise and implement strategies to correct
    • Ensure requirements are shaped into enough quality detail to be worked on by development team. Determine NFRs as needed into user story level.
    • Undertake activities as needed to move delivery forward e.g scrum master, Technical PO, QA Strategy, Integration Lead, etc

    The role reports to the Head of Technical Delivery within the Central Technology Team of Informa Tech (a division of Informa).
