Description

The Company:

GRIDSERVE's purpose is to deliver sustainable energy and move the needle on climate change.

We develop, construct, own and operate solutions within the ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging, commercial-scale solar and energy storage spaces to achieve this.

The company has a variety of products in our Sun-To-Wheel' ecosystem which combine these solutions not only to increase our impact on climate change, but also to provide an excellent customer experience and improve profitability.

In the wake of Infracapital's recent £200m investment we are looking to scale significantly.

For instance, our flagship Electric Forecourts include ultra-rapid charging, Electric Vehicle events and retail such as M&S and Costa to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles.

Solar is also included to decarbonise this charging, as well as energy storage to balance the electricity grid.

Following the acquisition of the Electric Highway from Ecotricity, GRIDSERVE also now owns the UK's leading motorway charging network of High Power Electric Hubs, covering 80% of the UK's major motorways and featuring 3 of the 5 busiest charging locations in the UK.

The company is now deploying many more of these, alongside Destination Hubs which serve busy shopping centres and garden centres.

The final component of our UK ecosystem is our Solar Hybrids, which ensure that we are putting as much green energy into the grid as our EV charging customers are consuming.

These solar farms use state of the art technology such as tracking systems which follow the sun's movement over the day to increase yields, and bifacial solar panels which also generate energy from their underside.
