We are looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic individual who enjoys partaking in fun and engaging activities with the elderly.

About Meadowbrook House

Meadowbrook House has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with an excellent staff team who strive to provide the highest level of care to our residents.

We specialise in caring for those with dementia, Parkinson's Disease, stoke and respiratory conditions. We also care for residents with physical disabilities, including those over the age of 65 who have learning disabilities.

Job Role

The role of a Wellbeing Coordinator is to organize and provide meaningful activates and events in a person centred approach, enhancing the residents quality of life.

Care experience is essential in order to adapt around the needs of the residents within our care.

Main duties and Responsibilities

Organise and create varied activities programs from organised hobbies to group events
Working in a personcentred approach promoting independence, choice and dignity for all residents
Develop working relationships with the friends and family of the residents
Research and deliver events that enrich their lives and connect with their community
Working closely with the marketing team to provide regular information, photos and news regarding the residents within your home

Requirements:

Kind, caring and compassionate in nature

Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standard
Confident and outgoing, happy to initiate and present ideas.
Previous experience within health and social care
NVQ/diploma level 2 or 3 in health and social care is desirable

Pay Scale
- £10.42 per hour until you have achieved your Care Certificate which we will support you to achieve within 6-12 weeks.
- £11.00 per hour once you have achieved your Care Certificate or have previous Health and Social Care qualifications.
- £ £13.75 per hour on Weekends
- £ £22.00 per hour on Bank Holidays

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

Salary:
£10.42-£13.75 per hour

Schedule:
