    Description
    Key Duties

    • Drive and promote health, safety, environmental and quality standards
    • Drive and promote the company mission, vision, and values Engineering
    • Read and understand basic hydraulic circuits
    • Determine correct test procedures from hydraulic circuits
    • Produce technical reports Production:
    • Carry out hydraulic equipment assessments, for repairs
    • Safe and effective function and pressure testing of hydraulic equipment
    • Attendance at site to carry out fault finding, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment
    • Assembly and testing of new equipment, including hydraulic manifolds and HPUs
    • Mobilisation of equipment, materials, and resources for site activities
    • Produce the relevant document packs for work activities, e.g., pressure testing and flushing logs
    • Maintenance & fault finding for open loop hydraulic systems
    • Lead on site teams, taking the role of company representative where required
    • Development of onsite solutions where possible, including immediate and temporary remedies
    • Disassemble, inspect, report and re-assemble all hydraulic equipment, including cylinders, valves, pumps, components, etc.
    • Completion of basic parts lists, identifying appropriate equipment and remedial work needed for repairs
    • Repair of equipment utilising all relevant hand tools
    • Basic machining, drilling, cutting, and grinding
    • Use of measuring equipment, e.g.
    , internal and external micrometers * Effective set up and operation of testing and flushing equipment Commercial:

    • Input to client discussions in terms of technical clarification
    • Responsibility for onsite project reporting Other:
    • Assist with apprentice training and development, including mentoring
    • Equipment, vehicle, and premises maintenance
    • Utilise the company ERP system for all project activity recording and reporting Qualifications and Experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Valid and Full UK Driving Licence
    • Level 3 Qualified in a Technical Apprenticeship
    • Level 2 Technical Qualification, e.g., City & Guilds
