The role of a Healthcare Assistant means that you will be working alongside many different teams of professionals to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and the most positive outcome.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you are the patient advocate, ensuring they are comfortable, supported, well looked after and most importantly listened to.

Our passionate and positive Healthcare Assistants provide empathy, friendship and encouragement to enable a more comfortable stay and faster recovery.

Come along to our Healthcare Assistant open evening to speak to staff from different wards and departments.

There will be colleagues on hand to discuss learning & development options once you join the Trust, and there is also the opportunity to be interviewed for a Healthcare Assistant position at the event.

The event will take place on:

  • Monday 19thJune
  • Held in the Lecture Theatre at Macclesfield Hospital
  • Call in anytime between 4.00pm and 6.00pm
All attendees will be eligible for free car parking - further details will be available at the event.


Shift pattern:
shifts will be either early (7:00-15:00), late (13:00-20:00), long day (7:00-20:00) or night shifts (19:30-7:30).


Shift requirements:

in order to support service delivery you will be required to participate in a 24 hour 7 day shift pattern and possible rotation between ward and speciality.
