    Paraplanner & Team Leader - Leicester, Office Based

    Salary negotiable to £40K plus company benefits

    Overview: Our client is a professional and well established firm of Wealth Managers and Stockbrokers based in the Midlands. They are seeking a fully qualified Paraplanner to take on the additional responsibility of leading their onboarding team. This role will be pivotal in managing the seamless integration of clients into both sections of the business. As a Senior Paraplanner & Onboarding Team Lead, you will oversee the onboarding process for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing exceptional service throughout.

    This role is ideal for an experienced Paraplanner who is looking for a varied an different role. The position would offer exposure to Wealth Management and Stockbroking as well as some line management responsibility

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead the onboarding team for both the Wealth & Stockbroking sides to the business, coordinating the onboarding of multiple client types into discretionary, advised, and executing-only services.
    • Prepare suitability reports for individual onboarding and ongoing suitability reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with various departments within both firms to ensure all onboarding criteria are met and any ongoing requirements are fully satisfied.
    • Conduct vulnerable client screening and uphold the firm's regulatory responsibilities in combating financial crime, including anti-money laundering processes.

    Requirements:

    • Fully qualified Paraplanner with demonstrable experience in client onboarding.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the financial services industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and clients.
    • Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in vulnerable client screening and familiarity with anti-money laundering processes is highly desirable.

    Package:

    • Starting salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
    • Generous holiday allowance of 5 weeks
    • Pension scheme available after 3 months, with a 5% contribution

    • Office-based role with no option for remote working unless as part of a company-wide directive.
