    ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER

    ONLINE FASHION BRAND

    MANCHESTER (full time offices based role )

    up to £30k

    Our client is successful online fashion brand selling globally are looking to expand their team with an experienced ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER who has at least 2 years experience working for an online fast fashion brand and excellent excel and analytical skills for best and worse sellers.

    THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Merchandiser Manager

    Responsible for trading the sales and stock performance at category level to meet and exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities and risks.

    Responsible for replenishing stock and maximising sales while managing mark down/promotions at product level and managing margin target

    Intake, cover and critical path management

    Working with buyers to develop in season strategy and frameworks plans

    Working closely with buyers in season reviewing and communicating performance of area and taking appropriate action to maximise profits

    Reporting directly into the head of merchandising and supporting the team by providing all adhoc/weekly/monthly detailed sales and stock reporting analysis

    Weekly trade reports and present dept performance in the buying and merch trade meetings

    Working closely with visual merchandisers ensuring maximum visibility for best sellers etc.

    Developing and managing merchandise admin assistants within the team

    Using EXCEL daily

    The Successful Applicant

    Advanced in excel is a must and experience of working in a Merchandiser role for a online fashion brand

    Highly numerical and analytical

    Strong decision making skills

    Ambitious assistant merch ready for the next step into junior to grow with the rapid pace of the business

    The ability to excel in a fast paced environment and prioritise effectively

    Good commercial knowledge

    Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing booking dates and ensuring that intake and category targets are adhered to

    Time management is essential and the ability to prioritise work load

    Confident, pro-active and able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
