Description

Our client, a leading school tour operator, is seeking a Sports Travel Consultant to be the first point of contact for schools planning group trips.

Full training will be given on this role but previous experience in the travel industry would be preferred.

Sports Travel Consultant responsibilities:

Find and follow up on sales leads, quotations sent and close sales
Develop relationships with potential and existing customers
Set up costings for tours and create quotes tailored to the customer
Able to travel to visit suppliers and hoteliers overseas to keep product knowledge up to date

You must be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills at all levels
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Target driven
Additional languages spoken would be a bonus
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Team player
Proficient in the world of MS Office
A passion for travel

Additional info/benefits:

Rewarding commission scheme (£4,000 £10,000 Per annum)
