Description
Reed Accountancy are currently working exclusively with an established client in the local area who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their existing team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing management accounts for the organisation
- Preparing management accounts for individual departments
- Preparing monthly cash flow and report on variances to budget
- Preparing weekly reports for the Managing Director
- Supervising Payroll
- Supervising Sales and Purchase ledgers
- Preparing bank reconciliations for quarterly reports, petty cash and expenses
- VAT quarterly returns
- Assisting in preparing yearly budgeting and cash flow forecasts
- Assisting in preparing draft yearend financial accounts prior to audit
- Preparing financial journals
- Preparing Nominal Ledger
- Monitoring Approved Suppliers database with HSQE
- Maintaining Hire Purchase Agreements
Experience and Qualifications Essential:
- A professional qualification or QBE
- Knowledge of accounting and financial software (SAGE) and good Word/Excel skills
- Logical, solutionfocused, selfmotivated team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communicator and good telephone manner
- Driver essential due to location
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Customer focus experience
