We are currently recruiting Hydrographical Surveyors to join our team based out of Birmingham. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone who thrives operating outdoors.

The role will involve surveying cross sections through bodies of water, flood plains, structures, and bathymetric levels in a wide variety of scenarios nationwide, for the purpose of engineering design works.

The role will offer the opportunity to upskill successful applicants through working with a variety of survey techniques in conjunction with the latest surveying and engineering technology, while operating within the expeditious Geospatial industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capturing data used to develop flood models and plan flood relief schemes.
  • Operating within and parallel to rivers, streams and lakes.
  • Learning and operating the latest survey technology.
  • Operating with boats and power canoes.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

Requirements:


  • Previous Surveying experience in a similar role (desired but not essential).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative when required.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
