    Job Description

    Madisons are recruiting for an Office Manager to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours based in Hertfordshire.

    Please note this position is not due to commence until End of April 2024

    Duties:

    • Ensure smooth running of the office-dealing with all utilities, orders, suppliers, mails, phone calls, office equipment and ensure that the office is clean and organised at all times.
    • Coordinate project activities with project managers and the staff, including managing project timelines and communicating with clients.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing clients, tracking payments and managing the clients relationships.
    • Manage Human Resources, including recruiting, hiring and training new staff, managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
    • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders and project specifications.
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for the construction team.
    • Supporting the Director with weekly and monthly tasks such as filing Company House documents, dealing with utility companies for the company and keeping accurate records of financial transactions.
    • Act as the first point of contact of our company

    Details:

    • Permanent role

    • Salary negotiable
    • Must have prior knowledge of working within the Construction Industry
    • Monday to Friday
