Test Engineer - Permanent

Reporting to:
Production Supervisor

Our client is a thriving technology business based in North Wales. They are a customer-focused organisation specialising in design and manufacture and they supply across the world.

Working within a small team as part of the wider production staff, Test Engineers are responsible for ensuring that all Company products and systems are tested to the required company standards and quality procedures.

This varied role requires liaison with various stakeholders within the business and is an essential component in ensuring that the Company delivers quality products to its customers.

Testing of Company products ranging from discrete printed circuit boards (PCB) to complete systems
Using a variety of testing methods and procedures using bespoke test rigs and project documentation
Soldering and removal of components to/from printed circuit boards
Writing test procedures
Responsible for ensuring that the Company meets its manufacturing and production quality requirements
Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures including Security, Environmental and Health & Safety, highlighting any real or potential Health and Safety issues to management in a timely manner and assisting in actioning any decisions made by management

Special Conditions:
Flexibility to work overtime when required to meet specific business deadlines.
Hours of Work: 36 Lunch: 30 minutes Start: 08:00 Finish: 16:30 (Mon-Thurs) 12:00 (Fri)
