We are working with a leading brokerage that is looking to appoint someone to their brand-new Operational Resilience function to focus on Business Continuity.

This is a unique opportunity to join a greenfield resilience function in a successful and well-established business.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Service Owners and their teams in the yearly review of Important Business Services (IBS) by helping create Service Recovery Plans and conducting desktop exercises to ensure accuracy and readiness for recovery within defined impact tolerance thresholds.

Facilitate the adoption and integration of the Crisis Management Framework and Plan through training and awareness sessions.

Support Business Continuity Management by assisting in creating standalone Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and integrating the BCM Framework and operating standards.

Assist in creating and implementing Operational Resilience Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting, and promptly identify and raise any issues to the Operational Resilience Committee.

Experience:

Strong understanding of Business Continuity practices and strategies.

Knowledge of the regulatory framework, preferably in relation to Financial Services.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities.
