We have an exciting temporary position available for a School Receptionist at our client's educational institution in the centre of Chester
Join us as we embark on a journey of educational excellence and make a positive impact on the lives of students
Hours: 8am - 4pm Term time only
Pay:
£12.43ph
Ongoing Temporary
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet students, staff, and parents with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the reception desk
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with general inquiries, ensuring a high level of professionalism at all times
- Maintain accurate student attendance records, ensuring confidentiality and data privacy
- Assist teachers with administrative tasks, including photocopying, sorting mail etc
- Collaborate with other members of team to ensure smooth operation of daily activities
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, or as in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Strong organisational skills, with an attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, with a good understanding of computer systems and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and adhere to policies and procedures
- Positive and friendly attitude, with a professional demeanour and a passion for supporting students and the school community
