Our client is a prestigious real estate consultancy based in Central London, W1.

As part of their ongoing growth plan they have tasked us with introducing them to their next

Bids Manager:
an approachable and motivated professional with solid experience in bids and tenders for both private and public sectors.

Working within the Bids Team, this role includes responsibility for managing each stage of the bids process for new business opportunities.

From the initial stages of research and scoping opportunities, to drafting bids documents, managing, and coordinatingbid teams as well as overseeing the submission and win/loss follow up.

There will be opportunities for a client-facing aspect of the role for scoping meetings and win/loss feedback.

Additional support for bids is provided by the consultancy's graphics team and BD Managers who sit with their respective business teams.

The ideal person will have:

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise work to tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure across multiple deadlines.
Understanding of what makes a winning proposal and ability to see a bid through a client's eyes
Research and analytical skills to understand the commercial context of the proposal opportunity and how we can add value
Indepth knowledge of the proposal process, with knowledge of public sector frameworks an advantage
Good copywriting skills and attention to detail
Excellent spelling and grammar
Influencing skills, to help and advise partners at each stage of the proposal process
Coaching and training skills sharing knowledge and best practice in workshops and training sessions
