    525 - £675 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
    The School and Role
    Working in schools and alternative provisions teaching children aged 5 to 16 with special educational needs and disabilities.

    You will be part of a team who will engage the children in the absence of their teacher to ensure that they do not miss out on their education and the school or alternative provision runs smoothly.

    As a SEND Teacher you will work, day to day, short-term, long-term with the option for full and part-time positions.

    The specialist schools and provisions cater for students in with communication and interaction problems, learning difficulties, social or emotional issues and visual or hearing impairments.

    With brilliant facilities, resources and a staff team who pride themselves on their child-centred approach to raise engagement on daily basis.

    Most schools and provisions have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism – Ideally Maths and/or English.
    Experience working with children with a variety of SEND including but not limited to, MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs
    Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
    Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

    The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

    UK QTS and experience working with students with special educational needs
    Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
