    Description

    At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team and who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. To ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.

    You will be working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 07:00 to 22:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 42.5 hours per week.

    Your main responsibilities may also include:

  • Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service.
  • Fire, security and building systems monitoring.
  • Service area barrier control and traffic management.
  • Maintaining a high profile, visible security presence.
  • Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.
  • Supporting retailers and stakeholders to promote a security conscious culture.
  • Writing statements and report as necessary.
  • Dealing with a wide range of security related incidents and offering expert guidance.
  • To succeed in this role you will need the following :

  • SIA licence is essential, Door Supervisor. Close protection licence welcomed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage and in working in a fast-paced retail environment is desirable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
