Description

Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual who can provide care for our students? If so, Laurus Ryecroft has the perfect opportunity for you.


You will provide targeted intervention and support to students who struggle to manage their behaviour and/or approach to learning in class, and work collaboratively with pastoral teams across the school to meet the needs of these students.

This position is contracted on a Term Time Only basis.

This means you will mainly work when the school is open to students and will not need to work during the school holidays, unless the contract requires you to do so.

In total you will be in work for 37 out of 52 weeks.

We have two Fixed-Term positions available.

Job Purpose

  • Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations and on a one to one basis
  • Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, selfesteem and social inclusion

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous
  • Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role
