Are you looking to work in a new school or looking to gain experience in a school?
Do you have experience supporting children or adults with Autism?
Can you work in small groups and on a 1:1 basis?
If you answered yes to the above, then this SEN Teaching Assistant role is for you

SEN Teaching Assistant

For this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be required to work in one of the schools ASD classes where you will be supporting students with high function Autism.

You will be required to support them with daily activities they will complete whilst being atschool.

This will include settling them when they come in of a morning, during break times, during lessons and activities, as well as manging their emotions and behaviour when certain situations become overwhelming for them.

The ideal person for this SEN TeachingAssistant role will need to have previously worked in a SEN School or come from a care background where you have supported children or adults with Autism, this are also looking for someone who is calm, kind and caring.

SEN School

This SEN School is located in the London brough of Wandsworth and caters for girls and boys aged between 5-16 years with various Special Educational Needs.

They currently have 150 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in February 2019, they were awarded'Outstanding' in all areas.
