Environmental & Sustainability Advisor £35,000

Seaham The Role:
To identify environmental and sustainability aspects and then impacts that will help the business finding risks/ opportunities.

Provide support for the site Environmental responsible to deliver relevant initiatives to achieve compliance and beyond as well as providing professional assistance to all departments at its two UK sites.

The role will also include working closely with the Division corporate Sustainability Department to assist with the monitoring and measurement of the Sustainability KPI's.

Providing support to ensure that the UK sites are compliant with Environmental & Sustainability legislation, policies and procedures.

Providing support on making Environmental reports, due diligences and identification of environmental aspects and impacts that will allow Environmental responsible define risks and opportunities.

Providing support on Monitoring, measuring, and reporting E&S KPI's.

Undertaking audits and inspections of UK sites, as well as participating together with the EHS managers when external and corporate environmental audits.

Providing support in the collaboration with internal teams to optimize the supply chain for sustainability, including compliance with regulations related to supply chain management.

Providing E&S advice and support at an operational level i.e. support on the identification of environmental impacts when a new project is raised. IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
