Newstaff Recruitment Agency in Buckinghamshire is currently seeking a Warranty and Service Administrator for our client based in Tingewick, Bucks.

Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

About the Role:

This role is integral to the Service Department, focusing on the management of warranty claims and providing administrative support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Examine completed warranty repair orders and prepare claim forms and supporting materials.
  • Ensure maximum reimbursement from manufacturers for all warranty work, including managing credit notes and associated paperwork.
  • Input manufacturer's warranty payments, manage the return of warranty parts to the manufacturer and reconcile warranty schedules.
  • Keep accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions towards goodwill claims.
  • Ensure that all frontline staff accurately record when a warranty is diagnosed on a vehicle or machine.
  • Maintain relationships with staff, specialist repairers, and manufacturers' representatives.
  • Stay updated on all warranty procedures and documentation.
  • Follow up on Machinery & Vehicle Health Checks.
  • Perform general servicerelated administrative duties, including answering phones during peak times, invoicing, and time recording.

What We're Looking For:


  • Experience in warranty administration is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting demands, identify priorities, and schedule work appropriately.
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with integrity, discretion, and objectivity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
  • Some technical knowledge is advantageous, as the role involves close work with the Service Team and manufacturers.
