    Do you have experience working with children in a 1:1 setting or classroom environment? Are you skilled at delivering engaging and effective 2-hour sessions to enhance pupils' subject knowledge?

    TP Tutors is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic tutors across Rainworth (NG21) and surrounding areas to provide personalised 1:1 support to students. Many of our placements involve assisting students awaiting school placements, with sessions often conducted in home settings or within the local community.

    We've seen a growing demand for specialists in core subjects such as English and Maths, offering opportunities to support both primary and secondary pupils. We welcome tutors from various educational backgrounds.

    Subjects and Age Groups:

    Tutors can choose subjects based on their expertise and teaching experience, covering Key Stage 1-4 and all primary and secondary age groups. Primary level subjects include literacy, maths, science, phonics, basic skills, and reading comprehension. Secondary level tutoring encompasses English, Maths, and Science.

    Tutor Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the curriculum to guide students through exam preparation.
    • Prepare concise lessons tailored to varying abilities.
    • Build strong relationships with students to enhance engagement during sessions.
    • Provide session reports and update student data using our online platform, LEAP.
    • Exhibit a genuine passion for education and take pride in helping students improve their grades.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
